Why Skegness properties need cladding cleaning

Wind-driven rain and salt from the sea mean cladding in Skegness gets dirty quickly, and on the sheltered sides algae starts to streak the panels. When it comes to cladding cleaning, high pressure is a bad idea. It drives water behind the panels and can take the finish off. We soft wash at low pressure, which cleans without either problem.

What sea air does to Skegness cladding

In Skegness the rain often comes in sideways off the sea, carrying salt with it. So over time cladding gets grubby and streaked, and then a careful low-pressure soft wash is the safe way to clean it.

✗

Green streaking

Salt film and algae soon make cladding look neglected.

✗

Water ingress

Because high pressure pushes water behind panels, we soft wash.

✗

Trapped moisture

Grime holds damp against boards, so they wear out sooner.

✗

Kerb appeal

Also, tired cladding lets down a seafront property.

Questions about coastal cladding

Q: Will soft washing damage my cladding?

A: No. Since the pressure is low, water isn't forced behind panels and coatings aren't stripped, unlike with a jet wash.

Q: What types of cladding do you clean?

A: uPVC, composite, timber and metal or coated panels, on homes and commercial buildings.

Q: Can you clean high cladding?

A: Yes. We use water-fed reach poles and access equipment, so whole walls get done safely.

Q: Does salty air mean more frequent cleaning?

A: Generally every year or two is enough, though walls facing the sea may need it sooner.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The operative arrived on time, as arranged. Brought the necessary kit to clean an accumulation of dirt, weeds and debris over several years from our drive and patio. This was accomplished by the end of the working day when all was looking pristine. Surfaces had been cleaned down. A week later they were back to fill the gaps with kiln dried sand and now it looks like new.

My front and back garden look brand new. All slabs are the original colour and weedless and the front is weed free and looks amazing. They worked really hard throughout the day and also returned to finish the work, due to really hot weather. Very good customer service, had a concer and called me back within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend 👌

From start to finish what an absolute pleasure.
No pushy salesman just an authentic genuine quote. Even when I added a couple of bits, nothing was too much trouble. The price was really good too.
Paul and Dale turned up on time on the date stated. Even though the weather was horrible they got cracked on with the job.
They grafted all the time they were there. The work carried out was exceptionally good. They cleaned up all of the mess afterwards and let the place spotless.
I cannot praise them enough.
They treated my mum and her bungalow with the utmost respect.
