Damp settles in the valley where the Bain and Waring meet, and it shows on rooflines. Our soffit and fascia cleaning in Horncastle includes the gutter faces, and we do it with poles from the ground.
Horncastle sits in a valley where the Rivers Bain and Waring meet, between the Wolds and the fens, and the damp that settles there shows up on rooflines. Soffits and fascias gather green algae and grime, and on white uPVC every streak is plain to see. The build-up holds moisture against the boards behind, which causes staining and, if it’s left, damage.
Houses in the damp valley bottom at Horncastle tend to end up with fascias and soffits streaked green and black. Rain on its own won’t shift it.
